About the Krewe:

Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus is a Tampa Bay organization founded on March 17, 2003. We are a family-oriented Krewe open to both singles and families that participates in multiple community parades and other activities each year. The goal of the Krewe is to promote environmental awareness and conservation through participation and to have fun in the beautiful environment of Tampa Bay.

How often does your Krewe meet?

We hold three all-krewe meetings per year, plus a number of socials and volunteer events.

Description of costumes and float(s)

YMKN is based on the Jules Verne novel "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". Our float and costumes reflect that.

Float - Two-level submarine with onboard bar

Costumes - Victorian/steampunk style.

For the Ladies, a gold skirt with bustle (various lengths), peasant top and corset in jewel tones.
For the Men, black (or white) pants with white (or black) shirt and jewel-toned vest.
