Since March 2020, there has been a lot of changes and unknowns. Members of krewes have been frustrated. Krewe's leadership has been faced with more challenges and unknown roads never traveled before while keeping their krewes safe. Every individual member within the 67 krewes that make up IKC has been impacted professionally and socially. The bottom line, it's been tough for all, including our parade organizers.
Next week, IKC will feature a krewe for the next 67 weeks. Why 67 weeks? There are 67 Krewes that makeup Inter-Krewe Council representing communities from Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, Tampa - St. Petersburg - Clearwater area, Tallahassee, and the panhandle.
The Inter-Krewe Council's (IKC for short) main purpose is to foster a spirit of cooperation and camaraderie among the member krewes and to provide a forum for information about area parades and other krewe-related activities.
