About the Krewe:
The Krewe of Hillsborough was founded by a group of friends in 1998. The name originated from the Earl of Hillsborough, Wills Hill, for whom our County was named. The costumes are based on Mid-18th century Lords and Ladies. The float is reminiscent of a waterfront wharf of the 1700's. The Krewe of Hillsborough is very proud to sponsor students from Metropolitan Ministries every year. The Mission Statement is to seek and honor the namesake of our County through charity.
