You are cordially invited to attend the Twentieth Anniversary Celebration Ball of Ye Loyal Krewe of Grace O'Malley as we install our O'Malley XX - Karen Hogan and the 2012-2013 executive board. This year\\\'s ball will be held at the Sirata Beach Resort in St. Petersburg, FL. The cocktail hour (open bar) will begin at 6:00. Pageantry at 7:00, followed by dinner and cash bar at 8:00. Gasparilla Distance Classic…“The Rough Rider Way” Watch and Throw Beads. Volunteer to pass out beads and encourage runners at Bayshore and Rome Boulevard, during the 15k and 5K Gasparilla Distance Classic. Members in uniform and all Krewes are welcome! Shifts start at 6:30 am and 8:30 am, but all are welcome to stay for the entire event. Bring short throw beads for the runners. Coffee and muffins provided on-site. Free Nike Gasparilla Volunteer T-shirt for pre-registered volunteers. 33" beads are available from the Rough Rider Quartermaster store ... $40 for 60 dozen. We will meet on Thursday, March 15th at Feathersound Country Club, Ulmerton Road, Clearwater. Registration will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner/meeting to commence at 6:30 p.m. We hope our out-of-area IKC friends who will be traveling to Tampa for the St. Patrick's Parade week-end festivities will be able to attend. The Buster Castellano Band will wow you inside and the Rhino Cube DJs will be outside spinning your favorite music. They have multiple screens for viewing music videos and parade scenes among others. All krewes are invited to attend the KOV annual golf tournament which will be held at the Westchase Golf Club, Tampa, on Saturday May 5th. Shotgun start is at 1:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Tampa Firefighters Charity Fund to support Camp Hopetake, a summer camp for previously burned children.
