The Inter-Krewe Council

The Inter-Krewe Council's (IKC for short) main purpose is to foster a spirit of cooperation and camaraderie among the member krewes and to provide a forum for information about area parades and other krewe-related activities.

Welcome to the IKC Website where you can add, edit, cancel or delete your krewe's events. In addition, Reps can update their own or their krewe's directory listing. If you are an IKC Rep and have not received an email to set your password, please contact: webmaster@interkrewe.com

A Message from the IKC Chair to all IKC Members

May I thank all of those who attended the December Quarterly meeting on December 5th. There was a great response and quorum was met, so we were able to vote in the new Krewes who had applied for membership to IKC. We can now proudly welcome Springtime Tallahassee and the Krewe of Dominique Mieux. It is so exciting to have so many out of town members joining the organization and just proves that we are doing something great for the Krewe community.

My hopes for the year is to have more IKC reps, Krewe Presidents, and Past Chairs attend the Quarterly meeting. Remember this is your organization and there is a wealth of information shared at these meetings. Your input and support is greatly needed and appreciated. IKC reps, please remember to share information with your members, so they may enjoy and support all of our Krewes events. I would like to throw out an opportunity to all Krewes, that was discussed at the meeting. There will be a contest for Krewes to submit a new logo for the IKC. It was decided that Krewes could submit their idea for a new Logo, and at the 2012 March Quarterly meeting all NEW ideas would be presented, as well as our current logo for Membership vote.

Your Logo must include:

  • Name of organization: InterKrewe, Council
  • Date established: 1992
  • Artwork kept in the guidelines of the Organizations purposes: Cooperation, Communication, Carnivale.
If one of the Krewes Logos is chosen, that Krewe will receive complementary dues for the 2012-2013 Membership year.

Please submit all Krewe logos to: John Crowley via email jcrowley3@tampabay.rr.com, not later than February 15, 2012. All submissions must be in pdf form.

Wishing all of you a Happy and Safe Holiday and Parade Season. Hope to see you on the Parade route and look forward to the March quarterly meeting. Thank you for your continued support of the IKC.
